What you’ll be working on:

• You will create delightful UI experiences for Vyrill's users
• Translate designs and wireframes into elegant, responsive interfaces across multiple devices
• Collaborate with the design and product management
• You will write high-quality bug-free code that is readable and highly maintainable
• You should excel as a team member of a fast-paced startup with high productivity
• Create experiments and measure analytics through tools like Mixpanel
• Constantly think about speed and memory optimization
• Set up CI/CD and write unit tests
• Actively collaborate with AI/ML and backend engineering

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery
• A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts
• Proficient in React.js and JavaScript principles
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus
• Experience debugging using JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• Sound understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Well conversant with AWS
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferable a small tech startup
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Good problem-solving skills through analytical thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to understand the big picture and also be detailed oriented
• BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant field

Vyrill is headquartered in San Francisco, with our global remote team members located in North America, Europe, and India.

‍Our goal: We plan to fill this position as a contract role toward the end of Q4, 2022. We have a great track record of hiring our former consultants as permanent team members, so this is a great way to get to know our team and share your talents while doing exciting work.

What to expect: Vyrill HR will actively screen candidates through early December 2022. Top candidates will meet with our CTO and potentially 1 or 2 additional members of the Vyrill team. Please anticipate at least one "live-coding" exercise as part of discussions with the Vyrill team members.
